Conditional Approval in Gloversville

On Tuesday night, the Gloversville Planning Board granted conditional approval for our new dispensary, clearing a major hurdle on the road to opening. The project is now on track to welcome its first customers by the end of the year.

The approval came with one straightforward condition: a public hearing scheduled for 6 p.m. on July 7. The board also classified the project as a Type II action under the State Environmental Quality Review Act, meaning no further environmental study is required. As the planning board’s adviser noted, it’s a “negative declaration” with tentative approval in place, pending that public hearing. The project will also go before the Fulton County Planning Board for review.

A New Life for a Familiar Landmark

Our new second location will be the former Travers Diner site on 342 South Kingsboro Avenue, Gloversville – a spot many locals will recognize. The diner served the area from 2004 to 2018, and the building has been waiting for the right next chapter ever since. We’re proud to be the ones to give this familiar corner a fresh purpose.

The new dispensary will keep hours similar to our Schenectady flagship: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. We also expect to create around 20 local jobs, building the same kind of friendly, knowledgeable team that our Schenectady customers have come to know and love.

Building on What Works in Schenectady

Since 2024, our Schenectady location on Lower Broadway has earned a reputation for premium products, competitive prices, and a welcoming, no-pressure experience. With a 4.9-star rating across hundreds of reviews, our customers consistently tell us the same thing: it’s the people behind the counter who make the difference.

That’s exactly what we plan to bring to Gloversville. Whether you’re exploring flower, pre-rolls, vapes, or edibles, our mission stays the same-to spark well-being through quality products and exceptional service in a space where everyone feels comfortable.

What This Means for Fulton County

The new shop will be Fulton County’s second licensed retail cannabis dispensary. It’s part of a much larger statewide rollout: New York’s Office of Cannabis Management has now licensed hundreds of retail establishments since recreational cannabis was legalized in 2021.

For us, though, this isn’t just about the numbers. It’s about putting down roots in another community, supporting local jobs, and giving Fulton County residents a trusted, professional place to shop.

Stay Tuned

We’ll share more details-including an official opening date-as we get closer. In the meantime, you can always visit us at our Schenectady location or browse our menu online.

Thanks for being part of this journey with us. Gloversville, we’ll see you soon.
